Well, I had this problem before. The answer is simple.

They should sit in the emulator, not in the game. So what you do, the game play for a while to start, and that's what you do if you want to save:
Press Archive
Click the Save Game
Select one of the slots (there are 10) (save, or press Shift + F1 to get into slot 1, Shift + F2 to save in slot 2 and so on to save)
This way you can save up to 10 different locations in the same game on the emulator to the same folder / GBA.

When you open your saved game again
Press Archive
Click Open
Click the file you open GBA
Click Open (for the GBA file)
Press Archive
Press Load Game
Select the location you saved (the last time, or press F1 to load the game in Slot 1, F2 to load the game in Slot 2 and so on. If you do this you need to dial anything to make the F1 key F2, etc. Once you open the "File" for GBA).

The game will be loaded.

There are several advantages to saving in this way. Fn First, you can save just before the start Poke "into a wild Pokemon, practically guarantees the capture) of 100% (in the near future. If you just before you press the" use "in the stock market, the Poke-Ball Save exempt, you try again and again and again ... If you draw a new Pokémon, simply download the file and try again. This method is also effective if you at any point in the game store, including battles, Pokemon contests, etc. You save time and soft reset when choosing your Pokemon to start with a certain kind and type of music.

Some see it as a fraud, however. Fortunately, the people in VBA (s) and evil are illegal, and do not play in VBA anyway.

I hope that helped!
